Julie Cheang earned a Bachelor of Economics, with a dual major in Economics and Finance in 2002 from University of Sydney, Australia and pursued further specialization through a Master of Commerce, majoring in Accounting in 2003 from University of Sydney, Australia. To complement her academic achievements, Julie Cheang also attained the designation of Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) from CPA Australia in 2004. Julie Cheang established her career in the property development and construction industries, focusing on commercial, industrial, retail, and residential sectors. She held various finance and accounting management positions across notable companies in Australia, including Popov Bass Architects, Brookfield Multiplex Australia, Lendlease Australia, Frank Hannan Property at Sydney Corporate Park, Rathdrum Property Trust and Mint Holdings Pty Ltd.
This extensive experience of over 15 years across different facets of the industry provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the financial complexities within property development and construction industries, enhancing her capability to have deep insight into not only broad economic principles but also the specific details of financial management, accounting, and strategic planning tailored to each business’s unique situation and industry context.
